MOYA brand narrative

Brand storytelling for sustainable streetwear

  • A brand concept and narrative for a streetwear brand, focused on creating an identity rooted in attitude, cultural relevance, and contemporary urban expression.

  • Streetwear is a highly saturated space where brands compete through aesthetics, drops, and cultural references, making it difficult to create a story that feels both distinctive and authentic.

    The challenge was to:

    • Present the naturalistc theme of the brand (MOYA= “water”) in a way that feels relevant, unique and fresh

    • Build a foundation for a brand with a clear attitude and identity

  • A short, bold, and phonetically strong name that feels immediate and ownable, implying nature and sustainability.

Its simplicity allows it to function as a carrier of attitude, adaptable across contexts while maintaining a strong, recognizable presence.

  • Streetwear is all about identity and expression.

The strongest brands don’t describe products- rather they signal belonging, attitude, and perspective.

    • Developed a brand story that parallels the natural force of water with the evolution of streetstyle

    • Crafted copy that emphasizes the collection's themes of comfort, self-expression, and urban nature

    • Collaborated with the creative directors to ensure the narrative aligns with the visual elements

  • Moya successfully embodies a genderless, comfortably aggressive aesthetic that invites wearers to embrace their inner creativity. The brand narrative resonates with individuals seeking to express their personal style through garments that reflect the heartbeat of nature within the urban landscape
